Small Batch Production

It can be difficult and expensive to get small batches of a product produced. Manufacturers in China work mainly with large quantity orders which often makes this route expensive if you wish to produce small batches of your product. As we are Irish based we can meet you face to face which improving communication compared to talking on the phone or by email to businesses abroad. By utilizing 3D technology we are capable of reducing the cost and labour time of the casting and moulding process. We can produce a 3D model of a mould and print it out using one of our in-house 3D printers, this mould can then be used repeatedly to cast your product. An alternative to this method is 3D printing a master model of your product. The master model is then used to make a mould which can be used  to cast batches of the finished product.

This process would normally be painstakingly done by hand, taking much longer than our methods of producing moulds. A benefit of casting is that your product can be cast using many different materials depending on the properties you wish for the finished product to have, such as flexible rubbers, fireproof materials and many more.

3D Modelling

We can use your original 2D concept drawings and sketches to create a 3D model using variety of 3D software packages depending on the final use of the model. This can include NURBS modelling, low poly modelling and high poly sculpting. The result is a custom made, accurate model ready to render, animate or 3d print.  We can produce 3D visualisations using our 3D rendering software if we have a 3D model, resulting in a representation of the product in use, an exploded view of the parts or a product shot for marketing use, truly representing how the product will look in the real world. Our 3D printers can also then print your model in full colour or as a fully functional working prototype.

3D Scanning

We are the foremost providers of high-resolution 3D scanning services in Ireland and beyond. We specialise in the very accurate digitisation of small to medium sized objects. Objects are scanned down to a fine resolution of 0.1mm, precisely capturing its physical shape without the need for intrusive tracking stickers like many other scanners. A scanned high-poly digital mesh can exported out in any standard 3D file format, with full colour if needed. We also offer a file conversion service for these would require a NURBS model for the likes of solidworks, etc.

Your parts can be sent to our workshop to be scanned, processed and returned to you in a quick turn around time. Alternatively, our 3D scanners are completely portable, so we can go wherever you need us to be.

Visualisations & Animations

Using your 3D model we can create stunningly realistic CGI renders and animations. These renders are useful for visual communication, allowing you to see what the finished product would look like when produced. Animations are another way to give a better perspective of the product, showing the product in use and with moving parts. These can be invaluable for marketing and demonstrations helping to promote the product before they are built so investors or clients can picture the final result.

We can assess the feasibility of your idea, and try to notice any possible design faults before making any prototypes. Using 3D modelling software we can check the best way of manufacturing and assembling the product.  Once prototypes are produced if you recognise problems with the design, our team will work closely with you to create solutions for these issues. We can then implement the changes to the 3D model. This iterative design process is key to ensuring you and your customers will be happy with the finished product before the product is sent to mass production.

We are able to take custom orders making the item to your design specifications, as well as help you with the design of your items. There are a wide range of materials, colours and finishes available upon request. With no minimum order rule in place we are capable of supplying once-off items without any issue.
